How do I describe this day? Packed filled with emotions.
I finally got to sleep in. And even then I was woken up. My brother was playing the harmonica, yes that annoying sound woke me up. The agony.
At superstore I was looking for some hair products when a lady came up to me and started asking me questions. She wanted me to get a PC card. I figured I'd inform her that I am not of legal age. I told her "Sorry I'm not 18". She goes: "Oh ahah really? You look much older than 18!!" -_- Did she really just say that? I say "Thank you for saying I look older than I actually am" I wasn't saying it as a joke but as a mean hint for her to leave me alone. She was really annoying, her laugh and her voice. Her hair was driving me insane and the way she looked at me. AHHH.. she just laughed then started whispering something along the lines of "when you're 18 you should get one because You don't pay extra for anything well except for cigars..". I just looked at her and said "I don't smoke". She laughed again "that's good for you! bye!"
I said bye and walked away she turned around and says "have a good day!". I muttered "you too" and went looking for my parents. Sheesh. I was a getting little irritated back there.
I bought a dress today. It's quite long (reaches down to my ankles), my mother's going to shorten it for me. The fabric, the pattern. I love it! I also bought a canister, but that's not important.
My brother and I bought scene IT and holy crap it got intense. There was a voice clip one where my brother knew who it was but couldn't remember the movie name. He had watched the movie numerous times just for the line "my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." He was screaming and screaming "I KNOW THIS DON'T YOU RUIN THIS I KNOW THIS." He didn't know the name of the movie he was pissed off all I did was laugh. It wasn't funny before when in the beginning of us playing we had to guess the actor's name from the previous roles he had. I knew it was Eddie Murphy but I said Mike Murphy from the previous one that said Mike Meyers. My brother then quickly said Eddie Murphy and got it! I was fuming. I was pissed too. AHHHHH Here is my angry face. >:(
Today was the first day in 6 years that I have been in Costco. It's massive. I like it. My friend is laughing at me right now. That sounded like a sexual joke. Hahaha oh whatever.
Monday I am hanging out with somebody special! It's part 1 of our 1 year anniversary. We're going to see Black Swan. I am sooo excited. And I will be buying frozen yogurt :D
I have written 1 exam. Social. IT'S FINALLY OVER. I have a math final on Monday and then... the dreadful chemistry test!! I'm so nervous for that one but I am sure it will go well because I studied really hard and I still have 2 more weeks to study. Hard work pays off.
Can the weather please get better? I look like a grey marsh mellow with my winter jacket. Brrr.

WWW stands for world wide web.
Well what can I tell you about Calaway park? It's far away and TomTom was no help in finding it!
To all who don't know, TomTom is the family's GPS. Yes indeed, the GPS is called TomTom.
When we finally arrived at Calaway Park we parked in section "G". This may all seem irrelevant to you but I assure you it is relevant.
To save you all from a super long and detailed analysis (this is no essay) of my day I will sum it up with the most important things I learnt today about myself and things in general.
1. I learnt that rollarcoasters make me get emotional. VERY emotional. Calaway park has a mini rollarcoaster and the ride itself doesn't even last for 1 minute which is why you have two runs on it. Today was the first time in my entire life that I had ever gone on a rollarcoaster. Apparently it showed. I am extremely acrophobic, for those who don't know what that means. It's an extreme fear of heights. I promised my younger brother I would go on the rollarcoaster, so I wasn't going to back down. I also wanted to try and face this fear. I'd never been on a rollarcoaster before so I wanted to experience it for the first time. As the ride started my nerves began to control my body. As the ride started going up ready for the drop, I have absolutely no idea why but I began to cry. Yes, I'm 15 years old and I cried. My brain told my body I was going to die, it was so scary I hated it. I hated the drop, I hated sceaming, I hated how my head bobbled around like a bobble head and I especially hated how my younger brother laughed at me the WHOLE time. Talk about supportive. Well that experience was a great one. Though I am terribly afraid of heights, fear is a great thrill ride. I am in no means an adrenaline junkie, and I don't think I will tackle the massive rollarcoasters in the world. But if my family goes to Canada's Wonderland, I think I will tackle at least on rollarcoaster there. Oh I went on the rollarcoaster again later in the day, I was still very nervous but I did NOT cry. I lost my voice screaming. Again my brother was laughing at me. Ah family.
2. It's better to spend money on frozen lemonade than a Sno cone. Great advice from my mother. Today I tried something I have never tried before, SOFT FROZEN LEMONADE. Funny how I go from talking about rollarcoasters to food, I work this way. Well the frozen lemonade (FL) was a tad bit sour and I thought that I wouldn't like it. But it is an excellent frozen treat. I don't know how much I'd like strawberry, and everybody loves lemonade on a cold day. A Sno Cone is a total rip off. It's ice full of flavoring. I don't trust the people handling the ice. Packaging in the Frozen Lemonade is much better. Mama always knew best. Listen to your moms!
3. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice haha I caught you're the fool now. The haunted house at Calaway Park sucks, so teenagers hide inside scaring the other kids. The last time I went to Calaway I went with 2 friends we hid and scared kids. This time when I was walking with my brother these 2 boys were trying REALLY hard to scare us. The one boy kept pushing me and screaming, like I didn't know you were there. The other boy was hiding in the exact spot that my friends and I hid last time. Before he even has a chance to jump out and "scare me" I pointed directly at him and said "I see you". He sighed and walked away. My brother burst out laughing. So there you go. The lesson here is, you can never fool the grandmaster. Yes, this is inspired by the original karate kid. LOVE LOVE LOVE that movie. Classics never die.
4. If you plan on getting wet and you're leaving right after. Make sure you have a change of clothes and hope that you parked closer! The last ride that my brother and I went on was bumper boats. It was a mans birthday and all his friends were getting him wet. My boat drove so slowly and I was caught in the middle of this massive water fight. I was soaked like my shorts were wet, my shirt was wet and my hair ALL were soaked. Not to mention my glasses, you know you're wet when, your lenses are wet. We were walking to the car and it was so uncomfortable, we had to walk all the way down to section "G". We had a change of clothes (yay for listening to my mom) but next time we go to Calaway Park, I suggest that we park closer! As my head was spinning and it was uncomfortable to walk in wet clothes.
All in all, I had a great time today. I went on numerous rides, GOT SOAKED in water, became extremely dizzy to the point of vomiting, cried on a rollarcoaster, told a kid I SEE YOU haha. Today was so fun. It was great to see my mom and my brother had a great time too. The only bad parts are that I got an extremely bad burn on my shoulders that will leave a bad tan, I also lost my voice, but I seem to be the only one complaining. My family is enjoying the peace and quiet.
Calaway Park is family fun - it certainly lives up to its name.
Calaway Park for everyone. Yes, that is from the commercial. =D

I blog everyday
At least I try.
Nothing out of the ordinary happened today. My friend who I had plans with tomorrow messages me telling me she had hurt her knee and is having a hard time walking. So the plans are cancelled. I had promised my younger brother that we would go do something fun before my surgery as then I won't be able to do much.
So tomorrow I am still going to be going to Calaway Park! My brother is oh so excited haha I feel like a great older sister. I plan on inviting my friend over before her big move to Dubai. My bestfriend lives in Holland, I haven't seen her in about 4 years, but we are still very close. Distance can't ruin a friendship, as long as you make an effort.
Well I watched TV today as I do everyday, I also played escape Haunted. I LOVED IT SO MUCH. It scared me a lot but it's the thrill that made the game fun!
Okay well this post is lacking. I go from lacking posts to posts that are detailed and long.
I bet tomorrow's post will be long and detailed.
Don't believe me. Wait and see.

July 14th - best Stampede ever.
In my opinion, Calgary is known for only one thing, and that's the Stampede.
Above is what it claims to be. It is a great tourist attraction but if you live in Calgary you may get tired of it. Sure a lot of people look forward to it, me I dread it because it's usually same old, same old. Not this year, it was much better.
My mom and brother sat with me in the stands as we watched the free outdoor show. Now who watches America's Got Talent? Well I do! I remembered an act that was on the show last year and surprise! It was them, they were on stage!
That right there is ACRODUNK. They are an amazing act that does amazing tricks and flips while dunking a basket ball in mid-air. Later on in the day we saw their show again and were as blown away as the last time. Here is a video showing some footage of their amazing act.
When their act was finished a french duo from Quebec came to perform their act. They called themselves Circo Comedia, and they were spectacular. Though the comedy was geared towards kids I couldn't help but laugh so hard. Like ACODUNK, we saw them later in the day and I was able to film it. I also got a picture with the duo and I messed up on the pose. My brother got a picture with them too except he did better with the poses.
Here is a part of the act. The overall act was over 15 minutes long so I'm showing you guys my favorite part.
My favorite part is when the guy pours water on his head and starts dancing like a maniac. One of my absolute favorite songs is maniac from the movie Flashdance. I thought that he would fit perfectly into the Movie.
A picture of the a near the end.
Here is a picture of me and Circo Comedia. Noticed how I fail at their theatric pose. My brother's picture turned out better than mine but doesn't want me to post any pictures of him on here, so I'm respecting his decision.
I took many photos with mascots. Here are the pictures.
I got a picture with almost ever single mascot except for
Energizer Bunny.
I also won my first prize at the Stampede! The game was a total rip off. Because it was 25 cents to play that may seem like a great deal but the game itself is hard to play. You have to push a ball and make sure it goes over a little hill and stays on that side. It's tricky because you can't push too hard or too soft.
That's what the game looks like. When we first entered the stampede we saw the exact same game that was 1$ and when we saw this we thought it was a deal because it is 25 cents. Don't be fooled this game is tricky, but I won!
Here he is ! He was prize number 1. So if I had played the game and won again I would trade him in for a bigger prize. You can trade till the 8th prize which is the biggest. When I won him I kept him and didn't play anymore, that game sure takes your quarters!
He is currently nameless so I need help naming him. If you'd like, leave a comment below giving me suggestions!
Here are some random pictures.
Overall I'd have to say that the Stampede this year was the best one for me yet. I didn't go on any of the rides but I went and saw the shows and the attractions. It was a really fun time. If you've never been to the Stampede I suggest that you go. It has a lot of tourist attractions. I think I'll be going to the Stampede every Summer unless m family and I go on vacation and leave Calgary.
One last reason you all should come to the Calgary Stampede.
It'll make you say.....

O Sole Mia
I spent the day with my family at Fishcreek today. Oh the memories that will forever haunt me; on the plus side I got to sleep in :)
My father and I decided to go on our walk at Fishcreek, we were both wearing sandals and clothing that was not meant for exercise. I brought along my brother's ipod to listen to. While walking with my intensely cool Polaroid sunglasses and my Indiana Jones hat from Australia I listened to one of my absolute favorite songs, Time To Pretend, by the Über talented band, MGMT. The song finishes and I ask my dad if he wants to listen to Pavarotti, he nods his head and I switch the song to O Sole Mia.
I am lucky to have a dad who has a love for art and truely knows how to appreciate it. If it wasn't for him, I would never have been able to learn and experience the art that the legendary Luciano Pavarotti created.
I blasted the music as loud as the panasonic headphones allowed me too, as soon as Pavarotti began to sing my father burst out into grand theatrics. I joined him, I could care less that there were 2 ladies walking behind us; we were there at the park for ourselves not for them. Whenever I listen to Pavarotti I feel this energy that I've never felt before, he inspires me to be great. I am saddened by his death but he is a legend, and legends live forever.
Today was a very fun day, full of laughs, mosquito bites, bad tans and theatric singing.

Bites = Memories
Walking with my father turns out to not be such a bad thing, my only problem is I sleep late and have to wake up early, I need to break that annoying habit. This blog will be short and sweet. I'm picking up my brothers saxophone tomorrow, but first I have to walk with my dad. I am actually enjoying these walks, I am not enjoying the terrible heat or the blood-sucking moquitos. 2 negatives can not ruin the quality time I spend with my dad. I'll scratch my bites and they'll get big and people will ask what happened. I'll say I got them when I walked with my dad :)
