Stop breaking my heart

Stero Love - I love the background music much better than the lyrics. I'm trying to find the instrumental for my blog. The blog needs a whole new look. It's too bright, too white. I like the vintage feel, but it's time to try something new. New music, new layout. I'm going to try my best to try fixing it tonight.

Other news, CD arrived in the mail. Going to listen to it over and over again until I know every word, then I'll review it. The band is simply amazing.

So lucky me, having a spare every other day. I'll just finish all my homework in that spare and relax at home. Though french doesn't fit until grade 11, I'm happy with the outcome. This year is going to be great... well I'm hoping. We're just going to have to wait and see.

Speaking of school, must get all my back to school shopping done soon! I go back in 1 week from today. Yes school starts officially for me on Friday, though I am going on Monday for SC (student council), and sept 2 is the un-official. Ahh summer is almost done, but I embrace the future with open arms.

Let's believe what we want to hear

The sun's harsh rays have burned my back. The redness will fade and it will look like a good tan. Though tanning of any sort is not good for your skin, it feels great to be under the sun. Summer is the only time when I can gain some colour in my skin. I'm so pale, my friend calls me albino. THANKS FRIEND.

My surgery is on Tuesday. I'm so nervous, it's my first surgery. I'm getting ACL reconstruction surgery, which I was to get 3 years ago; better late than never. I'm being quite optimistic despite my pessimistic personality. The glass is always half empty as apposed to half full.

I need to get a job. Right after my surgery I am going to submit my resume and hopefully work on weekends during the school year. My year is going to be packed. With a full schedule, clubs and hopefully jazz band I will have no time to breathe. I'm being a drama queen, yes I am indeed exagerating. I've always said
"What's life without a challenge?" I stick by it. I never take the easy route, because in life there is no easy route.

My friend Bertie, (click on her name to be linked to her blog) said the absolute most funniest thing to me today. I'm not going to give all the details (because it is a conversation between her and I) but she told me "if everyone starts being asian i'm gonna go learn spanish" haha it was amazing I loved it. Yes Bertie I gave you a shout out! Haha :D

I absolutely love shoes, they are the perfect way to finish an outfit. Choosing the right pair can be a challenge but when you find that special pair you'll fall in love. I have decided to dedicate this whole blog post to shoes that I am currently in love with. Well here goes.

Active Summer ?

What comes to your mind when you see the words: Active, healthy, body and exercises.
When I see those words I think of agony. Growing up, I never enjoyed gym class. It was so biased. All the kids who were on sports teams automatically got higher marks than those who weren't. I wasn't on any sports team and I was very un-coordinated. I'm clumsy, and I'm fine with that; the gym teachers didn't like it. Hence why my mark was always in the 70s.

I finished my last year of gym this year, meaning that I will never have to take it again. I was thrilled with the news, my father wasn't. Here's how our conversation went down.

Beginning of conversation:

Me: Dad I'm so happy I finished gym, I'll never have to take it again in my life.
Dad: That's horrible news, gym keeps you fit, we have to do something about this.
Me: What?

End of conversation.

My dad wants to stay healthy, I mean there's nothing wrong with that, so I agreed to get healthier with him, little did I know what he had up his sleeve. We were to wake up every morning and go on a walk, meaning I don't have any time to sleep in. OH THE AGONY.

It's been two days of walking and well I don't feel much different, I see where my dad is coming from, but I didn't want to sacrifice my sleep for this.. boo to that.

My goal this summer is to become more healthier, and I will post how I'm coming along as well as my various upcoming projects. I hope to gain a few more followers. I know I may seem boring, but I really am not, I'll show you.
